Fear is the affliction of the mind. The mind, will and emotions is the soul realm.
Fear of Devil:
- Superstitious is fruit of ignorance
- Superstitious describes a belief in chance or magic. If you're superstitious, you may avoid walking under ladders, spilling salt, or passing black cats — all because you think they will bring you bad luck.
- Dreads the opinions of people - worry more about people than God
Fear of God:
- Submits cheerfully to His will
- Grateful for His benefits
- Conscientiously obeys His commands
- Fear and love must coexist in us so that passion may be healthy so that we may please and rightly serve God
- Use for worship of God
- Being in awe of God
