President Trump proposed sending billions in Obamacare subsidies directly to Americans instead of insurance companies, a plan he’s calling “Trumpcare.” While Republicans praised the idea, officials say it’s not yet a formal proposal and Democrats dismissed it as another attempt to dismantle the ACA.
