WATCH DR. JUNE'S NEWS

President spoke before Israel's Knesset (like USA's congress) in Jerusalem. Netanyahu spoke first and spoke very swelling words about what President Trump means to them. Please see attached .pdf where I took notes on what they said!

I have submitted your name to Israel’s highest award - the Israel Prize - to our greatest friend ~~~Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel

The origin of the November 5 date that Trump refers to....

Trump's "Liberation Day" speech: While campaigning on October 11, 2024, Trump told supporters, "November 5, 2024, will be liberation day in America".

Election Day reference: This comment linked his promise of mass deportations with the date of the presidential election, rather than announcing a specific date for an enforcement sweep.

Widespread panic and concern: Following Trump's victory, rumors of a specific "deportation day" circulated, leading to fear and panic among immigrant communities. These fears were also fueled by news reports detailing the incoming administration's plans for extensive immigration enforcement.

Mass deportation plans post-election

Following the election, Trump and his team have confirmed plans for mass deportations, which are expected to begin soon after he takes office. Reports and statements from the incoming administration indicate several key approaches:

Declaring a national emergency: Trump has confirmed he would declare a national emergency to use military assets for deportation, bypassing some normal procedures.

Leveraging state and local law enforcement: The administration is expected to enlist the cooperation of Republican-led states and use federal funding as leverage against "sanctuary" jurisdictions that resist.

Expanding expedited removal: A procedure for fast-tracking deportations, known as "expedited removal," is expected to be expanded to include undocumented immigrants across the U.S. who cannot prove continuous residency of two years or more.

Changing deportation guidelines: The administration could change guidelines for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to allow enforcement actions in sensitive locations like schools and churches, which were previously restricted.

Targeting specific immigrant groups: Potential targets for immediate action include individuals granted humanitarian parole or Temporary Protected Status, though broader enforcement is also planned.

Legal and civil rights challenges

Immigrant advocacy groups and Democratic leaders are already preparing to challenge the legality of these plans, with some drafting lawsuits to be filed as soon as the new administration takes office. Concerns center on the potential for family separations, due process violations, and the high cost of such an operation.
