Dr. June reminds us about the Fast this week on Tue through Thur. There will be no registration. We do this each September to prepare for last quarter of the year. It is also the high holy days in Jewish tradition and makes for a very active month.
Then Pastor led us into encouraging word about how awesome and majestic our God is! I am a God at hand, sayeth the Lord, not a God that is far off! God sees all the false prophets and all the terrible things that are happening in the Earth. Just because judgment is not hitting them now, it will in the future. Trust in the Lord. He is with you. He knows everything. He is everywhere!
The Three Main "Omni" Attributes

Omnipotence (All-Powerful): God has supreme power over all things with no limits. He created the universe from nothing and fulfills His promises.

Biblical Example: Psalm 135:5–6 states that God does whatever pleases Him in heaven and on earth.

Omniscience (All-Knowing): God knows everything about the past, present, and future, including human thoughts and actions. Nothing surprises or confuses Him.

Biblical Example: Psalm 139:1–4 shows that God knows when we sit down, rise up, and every word on our tongue.

Meaning of the Verse

The Source: God speaks to the prophet Jeremiah in the Old Testament.

The Message: God says, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations".

The Context: God is telling Jeremiah that His plan for Jeremiah's life and calling as a prophet existed before Jeremiah was even born.
