The Healing at the Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:1–10)
- The Hour of Prayer: Peter and John went to the temple at the ninth hour (3:00 PM).
- The Lame Beggar: A man unable to walk from birth sat daily at the temple gate called Beautiful to ask for money.
- In Jesus' Name: Peter stated he had no silver or gold, but commanded the man to rise and walk in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
- The Miracle: The man's ankles and feet received strength instantly, and he entered the temple walking, leaping, and praising God.
Peter's Sermon to the Crowd (Acts 3:11–26)
- Giving Glory to God: Peter denied that the healing came from his own power or holiness. [1]
- Accusation and Truth: He reminded the people that they handed Jesus over, denied Him before Pilate, and chose a murderer instead of the Author of Life.
