Dr. June led us in worship and we sang these songs:

Merry Christmas everyone!

Definition of MERRY:

  • cheerful and lively

  • laughing, full of fun

  • (of an occasion or season) characterized by festivity and rejoicing.

In the Bible when it talks about a merry heart, sometimes it does not end up so merry!  The word merry is used 27 times in scripture!

Proverbs 15:13 - A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

He that hates reproof shall die.  The heart knows and understands. The heart is the innermost place of humanity.

Do not put confidence in man, trust in God. Man will always fail you. God never fails.
