TESTIMONY - That Alabaster box!

When I got baptized years ago that catapulted me to my destiny, I was bound by sin for years due to my childhood events. I couldn't break the sin for nothing up until this point....

Jesus told me one day in worship, "Trust in me, I will show you that I am the husband you're looking for. I will show you what a real husband is!" So, I went to my pastor and told him that I wanted to be baptized because I'm marrying my true love! Pastor loved it so I got baptized on Easter 2005. I wore a white dress as I was very serious about giving my all to Him. At this point I was codependent on men.

Before I was baptized this woman sang "Alabaster Box" song and I cried like a baby! That was me! I was the wretched woman at the well! The vile sinner! I was unclean! I was saved, but wasn't SET FREE. So, when I got in the water to be baptized, I testified to the church of my sin and told them I was marrying the Lord! So, when I went under the water A MIRACLE HAPPENED! I came up CLEAN! I FELT PURE AS A BRIDE! I WAS HEALED! GOD TOOK THAT PERVERSION AND DEMONS! I began screaming and celebrating that the Lord healed me of what the devil robbed me of when I was a little girl!

That year, God called me to Bible College. One day I testified in front of a 7th grade class at the Prep School and told them how God delivered me then called me to Bible College. About a week later, the teacher found me in the hall and handed me a mirrored box. She said the students wrote letters to tell me how much my testimony helped them! GOD GAVE ME AN ALABASTER BOX BACK!

I cried and cried. I took my children out to dinner to share with them what God did. Then two girls walked up from the bible college and handed me $1000! The miracles were amazing since then but it all began from that alabaster box!

Who would have ever knew that God would do all he did from that encounter! He proved that HE IS THE BEST HUSBAND! Two days before I married Dennis Wehr, the Lord came to me in a dream and told me, "I want you to love your husband like you do me." What a call! It was like Jesus was handing his Bride over to an earthly man. Now I've married my true love and God truly rewarded me! 17 years later!

Mark 14:3And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

4And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

5For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

6And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

7For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

8She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

9Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
