As I'm studying Psalm 32, I discovered something very interesting. It confirms the spiritual principle that I've noticed over the years about sin, and how it will manifest physically. I always tell people that when sickness comes or calamity, to go to God and ask him if you opened the door somewhere. I have found this to be true in my life as well. I've been healed many times from a sickness by repenting of a sin once God revealed it. Disobedience will breed sickness as well.
