I was having a really bad day. I was out doing yard work, talking to God and asking Him to please take me, as I didn’t want to be here anymore. When I came back into the house, right on the corner of the table where I had planted seeds for my garden, there was a cross necklace that I had never seen before. I asked everyone if they had put it there, thinking perhaps one of the grandkids had left it behind. Of course, they hadn't.
It reminded me of when I was younger, in my teens, and I had begged God to take me then, too. Back then, I woke up choking, and my dad was pounding on my back, but there was nothing in my throat.
I’m not perfect; I have a lot of flaws. But I do believe I have angels with me, and I know that God has a plan for me.
I was having an incredibly difficult day. While out doing yard work, I was pouring my heart out to God, asking Him to take me because the weight of everything felt like too much, and I simply didn't want to be here anymore.
Part 2: The Mysterious Cross
When I eventually went back inside the house, I walked over to the corner of the table where I had set up the planted seeds for my garden. Sitting right there was a cross necklace that I had never seen before in my life.
Part 3: No Earthly Explanation
I immediately asked everyone in the household if they had placed it there. I assumed one of my grandkids had accidentally dropped it or left it behind, but everyone confirmed they hadn't touched it. It had appeared out of nowhere.
Part 4: A Memory from Youth
Finding the cross instantly reminded me of a time during my teenage years when I had begged God for the exact same thing—to take me away. That night long ago, I woke up completely choking. My dad had to pound on my back to help me breathe, even though there was absolutely nothing physically stuck in my throat.
Part 5: Anchored in His Purpose
I know that I am not perfect, and I am fully aware that I have a lot of flaws. However, these undeniable moments have shown me the truth. I truly believe that I have angels walking with me, and I stand confident knowing that God has a specific plan for my life.
